According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston , the 49ers and Dolphins are hosting the UFL MVP, and son of former NFL quarterback Jake Plummer, Jack Plummer , on workouts over the next week or so.

Plummer played for the Orlando Storm this season, winning the league MVP by throwing for 2,189 yards on a 65.0% completion percentage on 300 attempts across 10 games with 17 touchdowns to just one interception.

His father, Jake Plummer, played for the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos during his 10-year NFL career, where he threw for 29,253 passing yards, 161 touchdowns, and 161 interceptions with a 69-67 record. He also earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2005.
Jack Plummer is working out for the 49ers and Dolphins, according to Wilson, and will try to make an NFL roster after spending the 2024 and 2025 seasons with the Carolina Panthers , but never actually taking a snap in the NFL.
