UNC vs. TCU football kickoff time and broadcast announced

The North Carolina Tar Heels ' football program is hoping for more in the second year of the Bill Belichick era.

After a tough first year under Belichick, UNC needs to bounce back this season. But they will once again have a tough test ahead of them to open the year. North Carolina is set to face off against TCU for the second-straight year, this time doing so in Ireland.

While we knew the matchup, we now know the broadcast information.

The Tar Heels and Horned Frogs will meet in Week 0 with a kickoff time set for noon Eastern time and the game to be broadcast live on ESPN. It will help kick off the college football season as one of eight games on that opening Saturday.

Last year, the Belichick era opened up in Chapel Hill against the Horned Frogs. After UNC went down the field and got a touchdown on the opening drive, the Horned Frogs dominated. They beat the Tar Heels 48-14 in dominating fashion.

UNC would finish the year 4-8 overall and just 2-6 in ACC play.
