Vinicius Jr . had a simple message for Endrick when the Real Madrid forward was nervous about Brazil's 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
The story works because it shows the pressure behind a dream call-up. Endrick may already be one of football's most famous young attackers, but waiting for Brazil's final decision still shook him.
For Vinicius, the moment became a chance to act like the senior teammate Brazil now need him to be.

In a recent Fabrizio Romano post , Vinicius shared how anxious Endrick was before Brazil's squad was confirmed.
"Endrick was nervous for the World Cup call… I told him, 'Relax, boy! You will be with us,'" Vini Jr. stated.
That short message says a lot about the relationship between the two. Vinicius knew the pressure because he has lived it himself, from carrying expectations at Madrid to becoming one of Brazil's leading names.
Endrick's nerves were understandable. A World Cup call-up for Brazil is never routine, especially for a teenager trying to break into an attack filled with elite options.
Vinicius did not need a long speech. He gave him confidence, treated him like he belonged and made the moment feel less frightening.
Endrick's selection matters because he is not just another young name included for experience. At 19, he gives Brazil a direct, explosive forward who can change a match from the bench or push for a larger role.
His path has already been demanding. He moved from Palmeiras to Madrid with huge expectations, then had to fight for minutes in one of the most crowded attacks in Europe.
That is why making the Brazil squad is a major checkpoint. It shows Carlo Ancelotti trusts his talent enough to carry him into the biggest tournament in football.
The connection with Vinicius also helps. Brazil need star power, but they also need younger players who feel settled inside the group before the pressure rises.
Endrick still has to earn his minutes. Neymar , Raphinha , and other attackers leave no easy path into the starting XI. But Vinicius' message captured the bigger truth. Brazil see Endrick as part of the present, not just the future.
