Virginia 12th drive: Pribula runs for 13 to start the rally. He takes a loss, and then Virginia uses its first timeout of the half. On fourth down, Pribula heaves a prayer and it is intercepted. Game over.
Duke 11th drive: Eget finds a receiver, who beats Henderson on third down. Sheppard delivers the dagger with a 28-yard passing touchdown. Chants of "Let's Go Duke," are heard. The Blue Devils miss the extra point, which means that the Cavaliers are only down by a field goal, trailing 19-16.
Virginia 11th drive: Pribula finds Rogers for a 11-yard gain on third-and-short. He then delivers a dart to Twitty for 25 yards, completing the pass despite a ferocious Blue Devils blitz. Middlebrook follows by picking up a first down - he has now reached a career-high in rushing yards, with 111 and counting. Pribula is flagged for intentional grounding, pushing the offense back. The Cavaliers are forced to settle for a 30-yard field goal to take the lead.
Duke 10th drive: Eget connects with a receiver for a gain of 43 yards. The Blue Devils are able to tack on a 39-yard field goal to tie the game with just under nine minutes to play.
Virginia 10th drive: The Cavaliers go three-and-out inside their own 10-yard line. Sparks punts all the way to Duke's 32-yard line.
Duke ninth drive: Henderson is flagged for defensive pass interference. The Blue Devils stall out around midfield, though.
Virginia ninth drive (continued): Virginia stalls out as Pribula takes a big sack on third down.
Virginia ninth drive: After a few plays, it will be second-and-nine for the Cavaliers to start the final quarter of play.
Duke eighth drive: The Blue Devils drive into Virginia territory. Eget fires a pass to Sheppard, but Robinson gets a hand on it, tips it in the air and intercepts it.
Virginia eighth drive: Pribula finds Martin for a gain of 15 yards. Later on, Pribula hits Rogers for a gain of 22 yards. Rogers took a big hit after the catch and is on the ground, holding his right knee. He exits with trainers. On third down, Pribula holds the ball too long and is sacked. The Cavaliers settle for a 47-yard field goal. Bettridge misses it.
Duke seventh drive: Once again, the Cavaliers force a three-and-out. That's the fourth of the evening.
Virginia seventh drive: The ground game continues to work for the Cavaliers. Middlebrook runs for eight, then Pribula escapes for 17. Pribula's runs eventually come with a cost, though, as he fumbles while trying to fight for extra yards. The Blue Devils take over.
Duke sixth drive: Eget returns at quarterback. After a few plays, he finds receiver Jared Richardson, who makes a circus catch for 31 yards. The Cavaliers are able to hold Duke to a field goal.
Virginia sixth drive: Middlebrook gets things going with a gain of 21. Pribula follows it up with a run for 14. At drive's end, Bettridge hits a 32-yard field goal to add onto the lead. After halftime, the Blue Devils will receive.
Duke fifth drive: Virginia forces a three-and-out yet again.
Virginia fifth drive: Pribula leads Virginia into Duke territory, leaning on an efficient start by Middlebrook. The drive stalls out at the Blue Devils' 46-yard line, as Pribula is immediately stuffed after trying a delayed QB run up the middle. Sparks punts away to Duke's seven-yard line.
Duke fourth drive: Virginia forces another three-and-out, topped off by a sack from Kam Robinson on third down.
Virginia fourth drive (continued): On fourth-and-short, Middlebrook gets a boost from the offensive line. The Cavaliers convert. Later on another third down, Pribula keeps and dives for the first down. Pribula looks deep for a wide-open Martin, who draws defensive pass interference. The drive stalls out at Duke's four-yard line - Tony Elliott elects to settle for points. Will Bettridge makes the 21-yard field goal to go up by three.
Virginia fourth drive: The quarter expires after a few plays.
Duke third drive: Virginia forces a three-and-out, fueled by a four-yard tackle for loss by Marcellus. He sprinted into the backfield to bring Sheppard down.
Virginia third drive: Middlebrook takes a toss for 20 yards to start the drive. A face mask penalty tacks on 15 more. Later on third-and-long, Pribula runs around and heaves a prayer to Gibson, who is pushed in the back. Pass interference is called on the Blue Devils. The drive continues. Pribula finds tight end John Rogers for a gain of 27. Eventually, the direct snap to Middlebrook on fourth-and-goal results in a touchdown.
Duke second drive: Dan Mahan is in at quarterback, as Eget suffered a hand injury. The Cavaliers are able to hold on, forcing an incompletion on third down after five plays. Blue Devils to punt.
Virginia second drive: Pribula's pass is incomplete, then he rushes for no gain and then is sacked. The Cavaliers go three-and-out.
Duke first drive: Quarterback Walker Eget connects with receiver Jonah Burton for a big catch of 40-plus yards. On the next play, running back Nate Sheppard sprints past Virginia's defense for a 32-yard touchdown.
Virginia first drive: Pribula finds Gibson for a gain of 11 yards to start the night. Ultimately, the Cavaliers have to punt. Daniel Sparks boots it all the way to Duke's six-yard line.
Duke won the coin toss and deferred possession to the second half. The Cavaliers will start the game on offense.
