Two major-conference basketball programs will get one final opportunity to evaluate their rosters Tuesday night when Oklahoma State visits Wisconsin for a preseason exhibition at the Kohl Center in Madison.
The Cowboys enter the contest following an encouraging 93-85 victory over Tulsa on Friday, a game that featured one of the most impressive individual performances of their exhibition schedule. Fifth-year guard Kashie Natt finished with 26 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists and five steals, narrowly missing a triple-double while leading Oklahoma State to its first exhibition victory.
Wisconsin has been equally impressive during its preseason preparations, defeating UW-Parkside 94-71 and Green Bay 96-77. The Badgers are looking to build on a 24-win season under head coach Greg Gard, while Oklahoma State coach Steve Lutz continues evaluating a revamped roster.
Although Tuesday's result will not count toward either team's regular-season record, the game offers a valuable opportunity to face high-major competition before the 2026-27 campaign officially begins.

Oklahoma State Coming Off Impressive Offensive Performance
Oklahoma State enters Tuesday with a 1-1 exhibition record after splitting its first two preseason contests. The Cowboys lost to New Mexico 99-89 on October 11 before responding with a 93-85 victory over Tulsa on Friday.
Natt delivered an outstanding all-around performance against Tulsa, recording 26 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists and five steals. His production helped Oklahoma State shoot 63.5 percent from the field while outscoring Tulsa 50-18 in the paint.
Latrell Allmond added 14 points, Jacob Walker contributed 12 and freshman Anthony Felesi scored 10.
The performance represented an encouraging improvement after the Cowboys struggled to contain New Mexico in their opening exhibition. Natt leads Oklahoma State in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals through two preseason games, while Felesi and 7-foot center Julius Halaifonua have also provided consistent production.
Tuesday will give Lutz another opportunity to evaluate his rotation against a physical Big Ten opponent.
Wisconsin Has Been Strong During Exhibition Schedule
Wisconsin enters Tuesday with two exhibition victories and considerable confidence following its successful 2025-26 campaign. The Badgers finished last season 24-11 overall and 14-6 in Big Ten play, reaching the conference tournament semifinals before falling to High Point in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
Wisconsin was especially difficult to beat at home, posting a 15-2 record at the Kohl Center. Gard's team opened its exhibition schedule with a 94-71 victory over UW-Parkside before defeating Green Bay 96-77.
Senior center Nolan Winter remains an important part of Wisconsin's frontcourt after averaging 13.1 points and 8.5 rebounds last season.
Australian point guard Owen Foxwell has also impressed during the preseason, averaging 16.5 points and six assists through two exhibitions. Foxwell scored 21 points with six assists and four steals against Green Bay, while Tulsa transfer Braeden Carrington contributed 20 points off the bench.
Final Tuneup Before Regular Season
Tuesday's exhibition will be Oklahoma State's final preseason contest before the games begin counting toward its official record. The Cowboys have been managing injuries involving Parsa Fallah, Mekhi Ragland, Jordan Burks and Kanye Clary, making rotation decisions especially important.
Wisconsin will also use the game to evaluate its depth and determine how its new contributors fit alongside returning players.
The two programs have met only once in regular-season competition, with Oklahoma State earning an 89-84 victory in December 1983. Tuesday gives an opportunity for these programs to meet again, even if the result will not count toward their official series history.
The exhibition tips off at 7 p.m. ET on B1G+.
