WATCH: Texans rookie WR Jayden Higgins helps take lead over Colts
Just like that, the Houston Texans are in business.
The Texans are up 13-10 following a promising drive in the second quarter. An Xavier Hutchinson 33-yard gain put Houston in the red zone, but it took six more plays for C.J. Stroud to connect with Jayden Higgins for an 11-yard touchdown reception.
For the first time, the Texans take the lead, 13-10, with just over 11 minutes remaining in the second quarter.

Higgins, the Texans' second-round pick out of Iowa State , was expected to have an expanded role on Sunday with Nico Collins being a healthy scratch. So far, he's totaled two catches for 23 yards, including the score.
For the season, Higgins could finish with a promising 550 receiving yards, should the numbers hold, along with six touchdown receptions. Following his score, Higgins has surpassed Owen Daniels for the second-most touchdowns by a rookie in franchise history, trailing only Tank Dell in 2023.
The Texans will begin the second half on defense. With the Jaguars leading big over the Tennessee Titans, it could be time for backups to take over the game.
