Etc: The Racers are 5-37 since moving from the Ohio Valley Conference to the Missouri Valley Football Conference in 2023, with a 2-25 record in league games....Wright came to Murray State from South Carolina, where he was the Gamecocks tight ends coach. Prior to that he spent three years in the NFL, one with the Cleveland Browns and two with the NY Giants. He also had two stints as the assistant head coach of UAB and spent six years across two stints at Alabama, serving as a GA and analyst for Nick Saban and then three years as the Crimson Tide's director of player personnel....The Racers' lone win this year was a 27-18 defeat of Valparaiso, a non-scholarship Pioneer League team. The closest of their six losses was a 28-14 setback in their season opener at Eastern Illinois. The Jacks also played Eastern Illinois and beat them 42-7. That was their last home game, back on Sept. 26....SDSU is 4-0 at home this year....The Jacks are No. 1 in the Valley in scoring defense at 16.7 points allowed per game. After scoring just 10 points last week at UND they fell to fifth in scoring offense at 36.4. They're still first in the league in total offense at 478.3, and second in total defense at 301.9.
