Why some Florida basketball players had to change jersey numbers for Vanderbilt road game

Some Florida players will have new numbers for the Gators' game against Vanderbilt basketball on Jan. 17.

The Gators forgot some of their jerseys when they traveled to Memorial Gymnasium for the game, according to a Vanderbilt spokesperson. For the new jersey numbers, Boogie Fland will be wearing No. 33, Xaivian Lee will be wearing No. 99 and Micah Handlogten will be wearing No. 34.

Fland, Lee and Handlogten are all regular rotation players for the Gators. Fland averages 11.8 points per game, Lee averages 11.2 and Handlogten averages 4.9.
