Roberto De Zerbi got the better of Xabi Alonso in fine fashion in the 2-0 win.
If you watch the 11-minute Match of the Day highlights of the game, it might seem like an even contest, with only some key moments making the cut.
However, it was far from equal as the Lilywhites dominated the West London club in their own backyard.
The home side at Stamford Bridge failed to control the ball, and most would say the deserved team got the three points in the end.
Tottenham game in numbers vs Chelsea
Tel had one of his best games against Chelsea after struggling for form at Tottenham this season.
De Zerbi's style of play was on full show, with the North Londoners dominating 69 per cent of possession, as per Sofascore .

The Lilywhites were much better in terms of the number of shots they took and passes they completed.
Tottenham recorded 15 shots to Chelsea's seven, had 569 accurate passes to 215, and made 58 final-third entries, while Alonso's team managed 37.
Spurs had 27 touches in the opposition box, 10 more than the Blues, and won 58 per cent of the duels.
The match momentum graph also shows the North Londoners were on top of their rivals throughout the game, while Alonso's team had a few rare spikes.
