Why Is Mohamed Salah Not Playing Tonight for Liverpool vs Manchester United?

Liverpool will play an away game against Manchester United in the Premier League. Liverpool needs a win to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Liverpool is on a three-game winning streak in the Premier League following wins against Fulham , Everton , and Crystal Palace . The Reds will need a win against Manchester United without Mohamed Salah .

Salah played last weekend against Crystal Palace, where he played until the 59th minute, as he was taken off due to a hamstring injury.

After fears from fans about Salah no longer being able to play this season, Liverpool confirmed that the Egyptian forward will be available to play another game this season.

Arne Slot's Mohamed Salah Injury Update

Ahead of the Manchester United vs Liverpool match, Liverpool manager Arne Slot confirmed that Salah will not feature in today's game.

Slot confirms that Salah will be able to play again this season, as he has a minor injury, but the match against Manchester United today is too soon for him.

Slot said, "Usually, he [Salah] is back earlier than other players. He has a minor injury, and we expect and need him back for the final part of the season, but not for Sunday. It is a big relief."
