James Winchester , who plays a pivotal role for the Chiefs' special teams unit as long snapper, remains the highest-paid long snapper in the NFL after agreeing to a one-year deal worth $1.75 million. Making the contract even more valuable is the fact that the money is fully guaranteed.
Winchester has been with the team since 2015, making him the current second-longest tenured player for KC behind tight end Travis Kelce , who was drafted in 2013.
Winchester has never missed a game in his now 10-year career. He's made 17 total tackles, forced four fumbles, and recovered two fumbles in those years for KC.
