MADISON – Wisconsin men's basketball was not perfect, but the Badgers mostly looked the part in their exhibition against a Division II foe.

The Badgers coasted past UW-Parkside, 94-71, on Oct. 10 at the Kohl Center in the first of their three exhibitions before the 2026-27 season .

Wisconsin took the lead 10 seconds into the game with a Nolan Winter hook shot and never came close to relinquishing that lead. The Rangers trimmed the lead to 14 points late in the second half, but they couldn't make any more inroads against the Badgers.

Winter led the Badgers with 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting. Miami (OH) transfer Eian Elmer was not far behind with 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting. All 11 UW players to see the court scored at least four points.
