Four-star cornerback Raheem Floyd revealed his top five, an announcement that excluded the Wisconsin Badgers .

Even though Floyd is an Illinois native, On3's Hayes Fawcett revealed his top choices are exclusively schools in the SEC.

Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Missouri, and Ole Miss all made the cut, while Wisconsin, a team that had a scheduled visit with Floyd at the end of the month, didn't make the cut.

Rivals' lists the 6-foot-2, 170-pound defensive back as the No. 1 cornerback in Illinois. Currently, Floyd plays for East St. Louis High School.

Wisconsin recently learned the commitment date for a priority four-star offensive tackle target, but that doesn't make missing out on Floyd sting any less.

There's no doubt the Badgers have a stellar class of 2027, but it's one that's extremely offensive-heavy. Landing a guy like Floyd would've taken their class to the next level, but now Luke Fickell and company are stuck going back to the drawing board.
