The Badgers were down 17-7 at halftime to the Nittany Lions, but the second half saw the Wisconsin football team outscore Penn State , 17-7, which led to the miraculous victory. Helping the Badgers was star tight end Jacob Harris, who recorded five catches for 105 yards and a touchdown, as the score was a 72-yarder that gave Wisconsin the lead.

"This is a message. The Badgers are back. We're not going to roll over. This is historically a top-dog program. We're looking to get back to that. That's what the fans deserve. That's what the community deserves. That's what we're going to give them," Harris said, according to Jesse Temple of Badger Connect.

At any rate, the Wisconsin football team has a major spark after the opening-season loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish , 41-13, winning the next three games, including Saturday's against Penn State. Consequently, the Baders look to carry the momentum against the Michigan State Spartans next Saturday afternoon, with the hope that Harris' comments on the program being back are real.
