🚨 Worries grow: Zizou gives update on Mbappé
Despite the narrow win against Türkiye and Cakir's red card, it was the evening's biggest talking point. After scoring the opener, France superstar Kylian Mbappé had to be substituted through injury and left the pitch limping.
After the match, France coach Zinedine Zidane immediately provided an update that is unlikely to ease concerns over the Real forward.

Zizou explained that Mbappé had twisted his knee and was not feeling well. The striker is therefore expected to return directly to the Spanish capital. The new coach also stressed that they do not want to take any risks whatsoever.
An exact diagnosis and a timeline for his recovery are still pending.
