Houston heads to Indianapolis with Hutchinson 46th among wide receivers in PFN's Week 3 rankings, and his nine targets out of CJ Stroud's 50 last week are at least interesting against a Colts defense that has given up splash plays to Zay Flowers and Tyquon Thornton. If Nico Collins sits again with the hamstring, those targets are available. The trouble is that he has only three career games with even 7.5 PPR points, and a conservative offense is a hard place to ask for more. He may be Houston's most productive receiver this week and still not be a reliable fantasy asset.
Should You Start or Sit Xavier Hutchinson in Week 3?
Hutchinson earned nine of CJ Stroud's 50 targets in Week 2's loss to the Bengals, and that sort of involvement is at least interesting against a Colts defense that has given up splash plays to Zay Flowers and Tyquon Thornton this season.
This is still a thin play.

If Nico Collins (hamstring) sits again, there are targets available, but how much can he realistically do with them? Hutchinson only has three games in his career with even 7.5 PPR points and while I think there is something of a usage floor that comes with his snap count, it's asking a lot of him to produce flex-worthy numbers in an offense that would prefer to play in a conservative manner.
He might be the most productive Houston receiver this week, but don't confuse that as a reliable fantasy asset.
