Yankees replace Jake Bird with Yerry De Los Santos
"Aaron Boone tells us Yerry De Los Santos will be called up to take Jake Bird's spot in the bullpen," Talkin' Yanks shared.
This is a significant change for the Yankees' bullpen, as someone meant to be a viable reliever in Bird is now out, while De Los Santos is getting a chance in the Majors again.
In his big-league career, the 28-year-old righty has a 3.78 ERA across 85.2 innings pitched with 72 strikeouts and a 1.37 WHIP with a 1-5 record across 73 games.
