New York Giants' Andrew Thomas named to PFF's top 101 players of 2025 list
New York Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas has missed more time due to injuries than both he and the team would like to ponder the past three seasons, but that has not diminished him in the eyes of many experts.
In Pro Football Focus' list of the Top 101 Players of the 2025 Season, Thomas came in 41st. Not bad for a player who played just 13 games last season.
Thomas’ 90.3 PFF overall grade this past season tied a career high and ranked fifth among all offensive tackles. One of just six players at the position to earn PFF pass-blocking and run-blocking grades above 80.0, the fourth overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft finished the year with a career-low 13 pressures surrendered.
The goal for the Giants and Thomas going forward is to keep him healthy. He's been besieged by injuries the past three seasons, causing him to miss 21 games over that span.
When Thomas is healthy, the Giants obviously become a different offense. There's plenty of time for Thomas to pull things together and finally get some traction, as he is under contract through the 2029 season.
