Brown announced the project while outlining McLaren's ambition to apply its "high-performance DNA" to the sport.
"Excited to bring our high-performance DNA to a brand-new venture: McLaren Golf," he said.

It has also been reported that technical staff from Cobra and TaylorMade have joined the venture.
While no official product details have been released, the recruitment of experienced hard goods specialists suggests the range could extend beyond apparel.
