Brandon Browner takes huge shot at Saints

If New Orleans Saints fans didn’t hate Brandon Browner enough for (let’s be honest,) being a huge waste of money and taking so many clueless penalties, well let’s just say he’s now public enemy number one.

After being released in the offseason and re-joining his old friends in Seattle, Browner took a shot at the Saints, per NOLA.com’s Christopher Dabe . Browner posted this photo to his Instagram, and claimed that he “took that few millions (and) ran with it,” while calling the team out for being “weak.”

Browner’s two-year pact with the Saints ended up being one. The team wisely chose to move on from him after he failed to do anything positive in the team’s secondary. Browner became the most penalized player in ONE season during his time with New Orleans.

So what’s arguably the most intriguing part of all this? The two teams face off in New Orleans on Oct. 30. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that he will get heavily booed, and fans will rejoice if Drew Brees picks him apart.

Browner’s been a very solid corner in his career, but he just can’t ever resist the urge to commit ugly cheap shots or silly pass interference penalties. With Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor already being dangerous in the secondary, there’s no doubt that Brees should target his old teammate as early and often as possible.

Mark your calendars, folks. This is a huge revenge game for the Saints. It’s time for them to show Browner who’s really in charge.
