The injuries just keep coming for the Detroit Lions.
Brian Branch , the thumping, play-making safety who seems to be everywhere on the field all at once, exited the Lions ' game against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.
The safety was dealing with cramping in his calf and was labeled as questionable to return.
The Lions are already incredibly beat up on defense, with a laundry list of injuries coming into the game. In addition, star defensive tackle Alim McNeill had to leave the Packers game with a head injury and was ruled out at halftime.
The Lions already ruled out left tackle Taylor Decker and defensive linemen DJ Reader , Josh Paschal and Levi Onwuzurike on Wednesday. Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley was added to the pregame inactive list, along with offensive linemen Kayode Awosika and Giovanni Manu . Decker is missing a second straight game with a knee injury and the three defensive linemen joined the ever-growing list of injured defenders on the Lions defense.
