Nix is a smart, accurate passer with a quick release (which has drawn comparisons to Drew Brees ). He went 43-18 as a starter in college.
Broncos tenure: Denver picked Nix in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft (12th overall) in April. He is now set to compete with Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson for the starting quarterback job this summer.
Chances to make the 53-man roster: Lock. Even if he doesn't start in Week 1, Nix is a lock to make the active roster as a rookie. Nix is the Broncos' quarterback of the future, and he's considered the early favorite to win the starting job this summer.
