The Cincinnati Bengals were eliminated from NFL playoff contention with the Denver Broncos ' win Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs .
The Broncos claimed the No. 7 seed in the AFC with the win, and are scheduled to face the second-seeded Buffalo Bills in the wild-card round.

The Bengals would've needed the Chiefs to defeat the Broncos, and the New York Jets to beat the Miami Dolphins in order to claim the seventh seed. Cincinnati finished the regular season on a five-game win streak with Saturday night's 19-17 win against the Steelers in Pittsburgh .

Bengals fans did get to celebrate some impressive individual achievements when the NFL regular season ends late Sunday.
Receiver Ja'Marr Chase won the receiving triple crown , becoming the fifth receiver since 1970 to lead the NFL in catches, receiving yards and touchdown catches.
Quarterback Joe Burrow led the NFL in passing yards and touchdown passes.

And defensive end Trey Hendrickson won his first NFL sacks title in eight NFL seasons.
AFC playoff bracket set for wild-card round
In addition to Broncos-Bills, the No. 5 Los Angeles Chargers will visit the No. 4 Houston Texans , and the No. 6 Pittsburgh Steelers will visit the No. 3 Baltimore Ravens .
The top-seeded Chiefs earned a first-round bye.
