The Cavaliers will be without Isaac Okoro for at least the next few weeks.
Okoro hurt his shoulder in the third quarter of the Cavs ' game earlier this week in Brooklyn . An MRI administered Wednesday confirmed that Okoro sustained a right shoulder AC joint sprain.
Okoro will be re-evaluated in two weeks, according to a team release. No direct timetable for his return to games has been set.
In addition to providing the Cavs with some needed perimeter defense, Okoro has averaged 6.6 points per game while shooting 49.2% from 3-point range this season.
Okoro's injury comes just as Max Strus nears his return from an ankle injury that has prevented him from making his 2024-25 season debut.
