Florida A&M Athletics is excited to announce hiring Brittany Beall as the seventh head coach of the Rattlers softball program. Beall brings over 16 years of coaching experience, an impressive 257-77 career record, and a demonstrated ability to develop student-athletes on and off the field.
"Ratter Nation, I am incredibly honored and thankful to serve as the next head softball coach at the #1 Public HBCU, Florida A&M University," said Beall. "I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Interim President Beard and the athletic administration for giving me this opportunity to be a part of the FAMUly. We are committed to building strong connections with the Rattler student body, community, and our incredible alums. As we take the field, we do so with integrity, Rattler pride, and the drive to win."
A former four-year lettered Division I softball player at Auburn, Beall has led her teams to multiple state championships and postseason appearances, including a recent 2024 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) 4A State Championship. Beall also served as the 2024 International Team Africa Coach and has been named Coach of the Year four times since 2017. Her leadership has produced over 75 athletes who have continued their careers at the collegiate level.
