CLEVELAND — The unbeaten Cavaliers are winning and having fun, so Cavs Frog is now a thing.
"I've been wanting to dance with that frog since I've seen him," Cavs center Jarrett Allen said.
The Cavs opened Emirates NBA Cup play Friday night with a 144-126 victory over the Chicago Bulls , and Cleveland set a franchise record with a 14-game winning streak. Allen, shooting guard Donovan Mitchell and point guard Darius Garland celebrated by dancing with a version of Cavs Frog on the court at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse .
"That was fun," Mitchell said. "I mean, we saw it. DG and I saw it probably like three or four games ago. Shocked the hell out of me when I saw the frog. And it was pretty dope. It was like just a vibe."
So what is Cavs Frog? It's a person in a frog costume who has been celebrating the team's historic start this season outside the arena in downtown Cleveland. Cavs Frog has garnered attention on social media, and it recently landed on the radars of Mitchell and Garland.

Inspired by the idea, the Cavaliers decided to get weird and rolled out their version of Cavs Frog on Friday night. Cavs mascot Moondog stuffed himself in a Cavs Frog costume, making a turducken seem tame and channeling his inner-Moonfrog.
A dance party ensued with a trio of Cavs stars. Mitchell (37 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter), Garland (29 points, nine assists) and Allen (24 points, 10 rebounds) led Cleveland as it became the sixth team in NBA history to start a season 14-0.

Meanwhile, Cavs Frog danced outside the arena while a man who has been singing about the team's historic record this season delivered his 14-0 rendition.
"It's Cleveland," Allen said. "Now we've got the guy singing 14-0 out there. They're singing together. It's just the vibe in the city, and I hope it doesn't change."
