CLEVELAND — The Cavaliers crushed the Minnesota Timberwolves in De'Andre Hunter's Cavs debut , though their latest addition wasn't able to be on the floor with his new teammates too much because of foul trouble.
Hunter finished his first game in Cleveland with 12 points on 3-for-7 shooting from the floor. He also had one rebound and one steal. But he committed five fouls and, combined with the blowout win, only played 22 minutes.
Hunter was in the starting lineup with Max Strus (ankle), Dean Wade (knee) and Isaac Okoro (shoulder) all unavailable.
The Cavs dealt for Hunter just before Thursday's deadline in exchange for Georges Niang , Caris LeVert and draft picks.
