.
Chandler Parsons : Do you shower five times a day? Rajon Rondo: On game days. Lou Williams: Come on dog! Rondo: I wake up, then I shower. Okay? Go to shootaround, shower. I'm gonna take my nap, get up, shower. Then I go play the game. Wait, now I got to warm up, right? 40 minutes on the clock I take a shower, then I shower after the game.

" Rajon Rondo started to go crazy in practices, talking so much in the film session," Mirotic remembered. "You saw Rajon Rondo always in front of a computer watching films, and he was like so confident that we're gonna actually beat Portland , and Portland was having an amazing season, and Damian Lillard was killing everybody, so we went to Portland, and actually somebody was knocking on my door. "It was like 2 or 3 a.m., and it was Rajon Rondo with the computer showing me, 'Tomorrow we have to do this. You have to cut this way or set the pick like this.' I was like, 'Rajon, we're playing tomorrow. It's 3 a.m.' He was, 'But this is very important; you sleep with this.' I felt like how serious this was, and we swept Portland 4-0. It was insane . -via BasketNews / January 9, 2025
That year, there were stories about Dwyane Wade being a bad locker-room guy. What was D-Wade like that year? Michael Carter-Williams : Honestly, D-Wade was in a tough position. Coming from Miami , nearing the end of his career, he was in a new place. I don't know if he fully knew his role. Having Jimmy and Rondo there complicated things. Sometimes, Wade seemed frustrated. He was injured a lot and spent a lot of time rehabbing, so we didn't always get reps with him in practice. He'd get frustrated about not getting the ball in the right spots, and we'd feel like we didn't have enough practice with him to figure it out. Wade was passionate about winning. He wanted to address problems, have conversations, and resolve things. There were moments where he led by sharing his experiences and trying to guide us. At other times, we felt he could've been a better leader . -via YouTube / November 29, 2024
Rajon Rondo: I've never seen anybody take care of their body like him. Rest and diet—I mean, the little cliché things—he does them all. The way he lifts, the way he goes at the weight room, the way he attacks his on-court and off-court workouts—it's professional. Again, if you spend that type of money on your body, and when no one's looking, you're still doing the right thing, then you're able to stay in shape and have the longevity to a career like his. Dropping four triple-doubles in a row? Things like that. I mean, obviously, he's arguably the greatest player of all time. For me, I saw it every day in his regimen. He was very disciplined. He goes above and beyond what the average player—or even some great NBA players—have done that I've seen. Not only that, but the skill, the knowledge, and the know-how. It makes him super, upper-echelon, you know what I mean? It's that discipline that takes you to a whole other level because these young guys coming in are more athletic and explosive. Yet, he's still able to manipulate the game, get to his spots, and outsmart everybody. -via YouTube / November 26, 2024
