Sometimes an event just gets in the way of you enjoying the Philadelphia Eagles .
For Philadelphia native and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor Rob McElhenney, he decided not to choose between the Eagles and attending the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles . He did both.
McElhenney posted a photo of him and his wife and "It's Always Sunny" co-star Kaitlin Olson on X, formerly known as Twitter, at the award show while watching the Eagles on McElhenney's phone.
"Who schedules the Emmys the same night as the @eagles #gobirds #FlyEaglesFly," McElhenney wrote.
By the end of the game, he may have wished he just watched the Emmys as the Eagles lost 32-9.
