NBC play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico called it "another crushing defeat" for the 4-7 Cincinnati Bengals .
"And a season of frustration continues for the Bengals," Tirico said during the broadcast. "It's that repeated sinking feeling that's happened all year."

The Bengals' rally from a 27-6 deficit gave them an opportunity to equal the biggest comeback in franchise history during the second half of their NFL Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers on NBC's Sunday Night Football at SoFi Stadium.
"I can't (explain)," Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told reporters after the game. "It's sick the way these games are ending."
Instead, the rally came up short, as Chargers running back JK Dobbins ' touchdown run with 18 seconds left was the game-winning score, and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow 's Hail Mary fell incomplete.

Burrow did become the first quarterback this NFL season to surpass 3,000 passing yards , and receiver Ja'Marr Chase became the league's first 1,000-yard receiver .
