Texas Tech football quarterback Behren Morton appears to have avoided significant injury and is listed as questionable ahead of this week's road trip to take on 10th-ranked Iowa State .
Morton earned the questionable designation on Texas Tech 's availability report, which was released Monday. He suffered a left shoulder in the first half of Saturday's loss at TCU . He did not play the second half and was replaced by freshman Will Hammond.
"We'll tell you, nothing structurally is wrong," head coach Joey McGuire said. "He's got a lot of movement back in it. We'll see how he feels tomorrow."

Morton is one of 10 players listed as questionable for the meeting with the Cyclones. Half of the them are defensive backs with Devynn Cromwell, Maurion Horn, Chapman Lewis and Bralyn Lux all listed as dealing with shoulder injuries. Marcus Ramon-Edward is listed as having a head injury.
Linebacker Bryce Ramirez (lower leg) will miss this week's game. According to Texas Tech, Ramirez underwent a surgical procedure on Friday as a result of a complication from his 2022 injury. The complication was discovered during a regular medical evaluation by Tech's medical staff.
McGuire said the hope is that Ramirez is not out for the rest of the season, but that's to be determined. According to McGuire, the procedure came as the result of an infection and he had to have the rod, placed in his leg after the 2022 injury, had to be removed.
Defensive back Javeon Wilcox (knee) will also miss the game. He has yet to play this season.
Other players listed as questionable include three offensive linemen in Davion Carter (knee), Dalton Merryman (head) and Dylan Shaw (hand). Receiver Drae McCray (head) is also questionable for the game.
