Coming off a game Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence described as one of the worst performances of his career , he gave an update on his lingering knee injury.
Even though he plans to continue to wear a brace on his left knee for now, he said he's progressed well and is able to move better.
"It's finally getting to where I'm not gonna really think about it as much and it won't be as much of an issue," he said. "I feel like I'm starting to move pretty fluid and it's not bothering me when I do much."

Lawrence picked up the injury in Jacksonville's home victory against the Indianapolis Colts during a late fourth-quarter play. He then played against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football and was sacked zero times, recording a season-high 59 rushing yards.
In the two games since, he has been sacked eight times and rushed for 17 yards. But still, Lawrence said they've been able to protect the injury and he is happy about his progress.
"I'm starting to feel comfortable and I'm happy about the progress I've made," Lawrence said. "We've been able to protect it the last few weeks. I'm excited to, hopefully, finally kind of get going and just play normal, move around, all that stuff."
Jaguars offense can come to life if Lawrence's knee is healed
A big part of Lawrence's game has been missing for most of his injury stint. He's a quarterback with the physical traits and skillset to evade pressure from defenders and create passing windows that may not have originally been there.
He's able to throw on the move and extend plays — two pieces of Jacksonville's offense that weren't shown in Sunday's loss. According to Lawrence, they were in the game plan, but the game went a different way.
"I think we've started to do some of that stuff and last week we had plans for that and then, the game and the way it was going dictated some of that," he said.
"I think that gives me confidence in playing and moving around. I think that's a big part of this game no matter who you are. You gotta be able to move and it feels good getting back to that point where I feel like I can."
When Lawrence is moving well, it allows his receivers more time to get open downfield. Whether it's rerouting or just allowing a route to fully develop, the more time, the better.
Lawrence has shown that he can escape the pocket and make off-schedule throws before the injury. If the Jaguars' can rekindle that spark now that his knee is healing, the offense will perform better.
"I think that's stuff that a lot of the good offenses in this league do," Lawrence said on making plays outside the pocket. "And it's something that we were doing earlier on this season and [we've] gotta get back to some of that."
