Facemask penalties could be subject to replay assistance next season, NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent said Wednesday .

The second episode of "Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North" showed Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor reacting to officials who didn't call a penalty on Dallas Cowboys rookie Marist Liufau for grabbing Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow 's facemask and twisting Burrow's helmet and head to the side during Cincinnati's 27-20 win Monday night.
"Facemask! Facemask! Facemask! You saw that! You saw that facemask!" Taylor screamed on "Hard Knocks." "How do you miss that? They grabbed his facemask, turned it sideways. It was as bad as it could be."

"They just flat out missed it," play-by-play announcer Joe Buck said during ABC/ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcast.

"Concerning yes, because that's a big miss. That's a big foul," Vincent said. "We would like to consider, or for the membership to consider, putting that foul category that we can see … because there is a frustration. We believe that is one category that we can potentially get right."
Earlier this season, an obvious call was missed when Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold 's facemask was grabbed during the final drive of Minnesota 's loss to the Los Angeles Rams .
