CLEMSON — Clemson basketball rose from No. 25 to No. 21 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll released on Monday.
The Tigers (18-4, 10-1 ACC) have won a season-high six straight game after beating NC State on the road Saturday. They are receiving 145 points and are the second highest-ranked ACC team, finishing behind No. 2 Duke.
Clemson's 10-1 start in conference play tied a program record. It is second in the ACC standings and is on track to make the NCAA tournament in back-to-back seasons for the first time under coach Brad Brownell.
The Tigers are also 30th in the NET rankings , which evaluates a team's record and March Madness résumé. They have two games this week, hosting Georgia Tech (10-12, 4-7) on Tuesday (9 p.m. ET, ACC Network) and Duke (19-2, 11-0) on Saturday (6 p.m. ET, ESPN) at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Auburn is the No. 1 team in the poll, earning 773 points and 29 first-place votes. Duke is receiving the last two votes.
Only one ACC team that didn't make the Top 25 is receiving votes: Louisville (50).
The USA TODAY Sports Board of Coaches is made up of 31 head coaches at Division I institutions. All are members of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Auburn is No. 1 in the AP poll, too, earning 1,550 points and all first-place votes.
