If fans, and teams for that matter, paid attention to oddsmakers, three teams would not show for the women's Final Four in Cleveland later this week.
Iowa, led by guard Caitlin Clark , Connecticut coached by the legendary Geno Auriemma, South Carolina coached by Dawn Staley seeking yet another national championship and North Carolina State coached by Wes Moore will battle at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Ohio sportsbooks have set their odds and instilled their favorite. Given the South Carolina Gamecocks made it to their second consecutive semifinal undefeated (32-0), it's of little surprise they've been made the overwhelming favorite to win it all by most of the state's notable sportsbooks.
Three of four books have the Gamecocks at -200. Here are the odds for each team:
South Carolina: -200
Iowa: +310
UConn: +700
NC State: +1400
South Carolina: -195
Iowa: +300
UConn: +600
NC State: +1600
