Google is offering a 50% discount on YouTube Premium for select Google One subscribers.
The discount comes just days after the company increased the price of YouTube Premium by $2, taking it from $13.99 per month to $15.99. The annual price also jumped $20 to $159.99.
With the new offer, Google One Premium subscribers ($9.99/month) can get half off YouTube Premium as an add-on. As 9to5Google reports , the offer is valid until April 29 for Google One users who have opted for 2TB of storage or higher, and it's only good for one year .
The offer is available for users in the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, and Japan. Eligible customers can choose to pay for it on a monthly or yearly basis.
To purchase the add-on , Google One Premium users must log in to their Google One account on a browser, click Benefits from the side panel, and pick the YouTube Premium benefit card.
A similar offer rolled out for Google One Premium subscribers at the start of 2025 as well. They should check the revised pricing before subscribing to the add-on once again.
YouTube Premium unlocks ad-free viewing, background play, offline downloads, YouTube Music, advanced playback controls, and more. Google made over $60 billion from just YouTube ads and subscriptions last year.
Earlier this month, Google increased AI Pro storage from 2TB to 5TB.
