Canon has released new firmware updates for its R6-series cameras, including the EOS R6 Mark III and EOS R6 V . While there's just a single fix in each update, it's the same important one: addressing an issue where image recording to the card may not complete.

Canon advises performing the firmware update with only the relevant firmware file stored on the memory card. After downloading the compressed file, you'll need to extract the ZIP archive to access the firmware file and the accompanying PDF instructions.
