2XKO Ekko Rundown

2XKO , Riot Games' 2v2 tag-team fighting game featuring League of Legends champions has recently begun its closed beta testing phase. In 2XKO's closed beta test, players can try out the upcoming fighting game on PC which currently features nine champions.

Each champion in the game is classified under a certain archetype and has their own distinct move list and playstyle. This article hopes to help players learn a champion's move list and give a general idea of a champion's playstyle.

Champion Overview

In 2XKO, Ekko has the Mix Up classification. Based on Ekko's in-game stat chart, he has decent range and high mobility at the cost of below average power and vitality. Because Ekko has the Mix Up classification, his move list helps him pressure opponents from multiple angles. Ekko is an elusive champion that's worth learning for players that enjoy keeping enemies on their toes because of the possible mind games they can do with him.

Specials

Timewinder

A quickly-traveling projectile that slows near its max-distance. If this hits an opponent while slowed, they're placed in a time-slow reaction. Ekko can bat Timewinder with his heavy attacks.

Timewinder Toss

An upward-arcing projectile that slows as it falls. If an opponent is hit while the projectile is slowed, they're placed in a time-slow reaction. Ekko can bat the Timewinder with his heavy attacks.

Temporal Slip

A fast-forward three-hit strike that passes through the opponent before the final hit.

Chronostrike

A traveling strike that creates an Afterimage. Can be held to summon a Volatile Afterimage. Holding forward will ensure Ekko does not rewind.

Replay

Ekko rewinds to his Afterimage for a traveling strike.

Time's Up

Ekko rewinds to his Afterimage for a safe launching kick.

Chronoswitch

Rewind to Afterimage then take any action.

Chronobreak

Rewind to Afterimage with a huge burst of energy.

Phase Dive

A roll that passes through, with partial invulnerability. Creates an Afterimage. Hold for Volatile Afterimage.

Supers

Mega Timewinder

An expanded Timewinder that hits multiple times and returns. Ekko can bat Mega Timewinder with his heavy attacks.

Tangled Timeline

Creates a Volatile Afterimage that persists for several seconds and can be rewound to multiple times.

Attempt #37

A dashing strike. If hit during startup, rewind time to dodge the strike and punish opponent.

Unique Moves

Heel Tap

Quick longer-range low command normal.

Flip It

An overhead flip that cannot be cancelled.

Step Up

A multi-hitting command normal that leaves Ekko airborne.

Air Hop

Ekko hops forward mid-air.

Assists

Chronostrike Assist

Ekko performs a dashing strike.

Timewinder Assist

An assist version of Timewinder. Ekko throws a Timewinder projectile.

Mega Timewinder Assist

An assist version of Mega Timewinder. This move is only available if assist is KO'd.
