Palworld 's development continues to roll on, and while the team has been teasing some big things coming in the eventual 1.1 update, right now it's about v1.0.4, which was released on September 7 and brings a handful of additions and changes that fans have been clamouring for. We'll cover everything major in the Palworld v1.0.4 patch notes, so you know what to expect.

New Missions

Source: Pocketpair
Two new sub-missions have been added to the game, with the intent of more clearly guiding you to the Terraria crossover content. If you head to Fisherman's Point on the south side of Mount Obsidian, you can talk to a man with a slime, who'll tell you about a dungeon containing strange creatures.
Once this quest is completed, you'll unlock the second new quest, "From the Far Side of the Moon", which is about fighting and defeating the Moon Lord raid boss.
Palpedia name search

Source: Pocketpair
A seemingly small feature, but an incredibly useful one. When you're searching the Palpedia for information on a certain Pal's work suitabilities , abilities, or other information, you can now simply type their name into a search bar to get them to appear, rather than having to search by elemental type.
Fishing difficulty adjusted

Source: Pocketpair
Fishing in the late-game areas will now be a bit easier, as the Sunreach and World Tree regions have had their difficulty nudged a bit. This isn't the only change to fishing, though, as the amount of items you receive has been boosted per bait type, and you can now adjust "Fish Behaviour During Fishing Minigames" in the World Settings if you want to make it easier/harder.
Radiant Gem drop fixes
A bug that's existed in Palworld since launch involved a strange phenomenon where, in the World Tree , Electric Radiant Gems would drop very frequently, and often from Pals they seemingly shouldn't. This has finally been fixed, and the different types of gems will drop at the correct rate, so you can farm reliably.
Campfires no longer burn you
A very welcome change for anyone who's accidentally stood too close to their own campfire. If it was placed by you, then neither you nor any of the Pals in your base can be burnt by it. A drop in the realism category, perhaps, but all of us no longer getting clumsily set on fire are grateful.
