2XKO Fuse Guide: A Guide to Understanding 2XKO's Gameplay Modifiers

In 2XKO , Riot Games' tag-team fighting game, there are a number of gameplay modifiers that players can pick during champ select. These modifiers are called Fuses. The 2XKO Fuses allow players to bend the games rules a bit to create their own playstyles. Let's look into what each Fuse in 2XKO does. As of writing, there are currently five Fuses in the game for players to choose from.

Juggernaut

Riot Games

First up, we have the Juggernaut Fuse. This is probably the easiest and simplest Fuse to understand. Basically, the Juggernaut Fuse lets you play as a single champion. Players who want to one-trick a single champion or focus on learning one champion may want to considering using this Fuse.

The Juggernaut Fuse gives your single champion a variety of buffs to make up for playing a solo champion. First, your single champion will have bonus health. Additionally, they'll also get a defensive bonus when they only have a third of their health left. Furthermore, champions with Juggernaut will start matches with two Super Meter bars instead of the usual one. Also, they'll get additional max Super Meter too. Moreover, Juggernaut champions have immediate access to Fury Break, and their Push Assist becomes a Push Block instead. The Push Block will use up some of the champion's break meter.

Finally, Juggernaut champions won't have a tag launcher because they're solo. Instead, they'll have an Eject mechanic that forces enemies to swap champions. This Eject mechanic needs one level of meter.

Sidekick

Secondly, we have the Sidekick Fuse. Similar to the Juggernaut Fuse, players can only play one champion. In this case, it's their point champion or the first champion they pick in champ select. However, this Fuse differs from Juggernaut because players will still be able to use their secondary or assist champion. The Sidekick Fuse streamlines is intended to streamline the game's tag system. Additionally, while the assist champion cannot be tagged in, they also cannot be KO'd.

This is a good fuse to use when players duo with their friends because it allows the duo to assist their point player. Like Juggernaut, the point champion with Sidekick also has bonus health and get a defense bonus when they have a third of their health remaining.

In the Sidekick Fuse, both champions will share the same five bars of meter. Additionally, the assist champion can combine their super attacks with the point champion, but not their ultimate abilities. Moreover, the assist champion can perform assist actions such as assists and push assists. Also, the assist player can press any of the attack buttons while their point is getting hit to give damage reduction.

Double Down

Riot Games

Thirdly, there's the Double Down Fuse. This Fuse lets players tag their assist champion in and immediately do their super or ultimate abilities while the point is doing a super.

To activate the Double Down Fuse, players have to press the buttons of their assist champion's super or ultimate while their point champion is doing a super attack. Additionally, this Fuse let's players Handshake Tag their assist champion in while their point champion is doing a Super attack.

For most players that like using two champions, this will be the simplest Fuse to use.

2X Assist

Riot Games

Next, the 2X Assist Fuse lets players use their assist champion's assist twice in one assist call. This is a fairly versatile Fuse because each champion has two assist abilities. Players can choose to either use the same assist twice or try mixing things up.

The 2X Assist Fuse can help create offensive pressure, extend your combos, or create space when being pressured while you're on the defensive. However, this Fuse can be moderately hard to learn because it requires knowing how each champion's assist flows with into each other.

Freestyle

Riot Games

Finally, we have the Freestyle Fuse that lets players perform a Handshake Tag twice in one sequence. While this Fuse is difficult to master, it allows players to do unique combos with both their champions.

To use this Fuse, players call an assist and perform a Handshake Tag. Then, before their first point champion leaves the screen they can perform a second Handshake Tag to use their first champion again. If players can tag their assist champion in on the opposite side of their opponents, they'll have a large range of combo potential.

This wraps up our quick guide on 2XKO Fuses. Hopefully this helps you, the reader, find the right Fuse that suits your playstyles.
