A trailer for the two-player mode coming to Elden Ring Nightreign was posted to the BANDAI NAMCO Europe YouTube channel moments ago, giving us an official release date for the long-awaited update.
The update is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, July 30th, as part of the 1.02 update. Gone are the days of praying to the old gods and new for a teammate that won't beeline for a church on the opposite side of the map, or back out after dying to a basement boss at level 2.
The update also brings some UI and quality of life changes, including improvements to the relic filtering system. The original system leaves players with dozens of relics to scroll through, many with the same icon, with no real way to sort them aside from color and rarity. This makes the process of sorting and getting rid of unwanted relics incredibly tedious. Hopefully, the updated system will allow users to filter by effects.
Shortly after the update releases, a new in-game event will begin. On July 31st, enhanced versions of Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog will be available to fight, granting players bonus rewards for defeating the juiced-up bosses.
