MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls Pre-Order Opens, Arrives August 6

Following a short beta test back in December, Arc System Works is feeling confident with how MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is shaping up, announcing an August 6, 2026, release date for PC on Steam and the PS5. Pre-orders are also now open.

Two big worlds collide as fighting game savants Arc System Works get to handle the massive IP of MARVEL for the first time in the developers' history. Having developed fighting game exemplars like Guilty Gear and Blazblue and successfully creating fighting games for third-party IP such as Dragon Ball FighterZ and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, fighting game enthusiasts are very hopeful for this MARVEL game they are developing, after the last one, MARVEL vs. Capcom Infinite, failed spectacularly.

Arc System Works brings its unique flair and art style to the MARVEL IP, reimagining beloved MARVEL characters in their own look and style. A growing roster of 20 iconic heroes and villains will be available at launch, including Storm, Magik, Wolverine, Danger, Spider-Man, Captain America, Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, Doctor Doom, Ghost Rider, and Star-Lord.

Arc System Works promises a "fighting game for all," describing the combat experience as immersive and fluid at the same time, with a wide range of unique moves, strike chains and strategies to master. Customizable controls, both traditional and quick-input, along with easy strike chains, allow you to engage in combat seamlessly from the first moment.
