The next expansion for Guild Wars 2 is still some ways away, but ArenaNet is still revealing the Elite Specializations that Visions of Eternity will contain. Last week it was Mesmer, Ranger and Guardian's turn , and now, we have news for Thief, Necromancer and Warrior.

Thief - Antiquary

Thief mains were slightly underwhelmed by the Antiquary reveal, since it lacked many flashy movements. Still, the mechanics behind it are novel: it is all about the steal skill (called Pilfer for this Spec), sending Skritt minions to find things, and cheating cooldowns.

Necromancer - Ritualist

The Ritualist is one of the two specs that harken back to the first Guild Wars, but it functions quite differently: as a Necromancer Ritualist, you enter Shroud to summon the spirits of the dead, and those spirits can help you harm your foes or aid your allies. It might have some interesting synergies with minion-focused builds.

Warrior - Paragon

The spear moveset available to Warriors in Janthir Wilds was clearly a stepping stone for this new Elite Specialization, particularly due to their legacy in the original game. There, Paragons commanded support and threw spears from afar; we are currently able to do only one of those things, with the supportive commands coming in the next expansion.

What's Next?

Next week will see the details of the Elementalist, Engineer and Revenant, and of those last two in particular we know very little. Stay tuned for what might be the most exciting reveal yet.
