'MOUSE: P.I. For Hire' Delayed Until April

For the second time in less than a week, one of the games on my New Video Games We Can't Wait to Play in 2026 list has been delayed. First, it was REPLACED , and now it's MOUSE: P.I. For Hire , which was pushed back from March 19 to April 16. Developer Fumi Games indicated that the reason for the delay was to further polish the experience, though the looming specter of Crimson Desert , which also is set for a March 19 release, may have played a role.

The game is scheduled to release on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Official Statement From Fumi Games

"Today, we have an important update to share with you all. We have made the decision to move the release date of MOUSE: P.I. for Hire to April 16, 2026.
