Umamusume: Pretty Derby's Sprint Legend races are just on the horizon, but a newly arriving character is ready to conquer all competition. Curren Chan will be available in a limited banner starting July 27th, with boosted rates and a selector after 200 pulls.
Curren Chan - Attributes And Skills
Curren Chan is an SSR trainee excellent at Sprint distances in the Pace Chaser position. She has a 10% growth in Speedand a 20% growth in Power. Taking her career races into account, she is straightforward to train, and her stat growths reinforce her position as a formidable Sprint-type character.

Her unique skill, #LookatCurren, is a velocity and acceleration boost that triggers when she is placed well and passes another runner mid-race. Her position as a Pace Chaser makes her unique skill activate consistently, except when there are too many Front Runners or she has no other runner to overtake.
Curren Chan's Gold-tier Potential skills, Dazzling Disorientation (Level 3) and Adored By All (Level 5), are terrifying debuffs that cripple Late Surgers and End Closers in Team Trials. The debuffs grant her an advantage versus common Sprint trainees such as Haru Urara and King Halo. Still, she might struggle against powerful Front Runners such as Taiki Shuttle or Maruzensky.

Since you can't use the featured character on their own Legend Races, Curren Chan is a fantastic pick if you don't have Taiki Shuttle or Maruzensky in your current roster. Furthermore, she is easier to train, has impressive stat growths, and can perform as a debuffer in your Sprint Team Trials.
