One of the best-performing teams in Exilium has received a new addition to the party, and this time it's a chef who can cook fantastic dishes and deal immense damage up close. Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's new themed update introduces the Vanguard-class Doll, Qiuhua, in a limited banner starting July 24th.

This article provides a brief overview of her abilities, ideal team composition, and an answer to the question: Should you pull for Quihua?

Traits and Abilities

Qiuhua is a Burn-type Vanguard wielding the Type 97 Shotgun with high mobility and moderate defenses. She excels at providing supplemental damage to lonesome elite enemies, and can serve as a scout to reach distant objectives.

Searing Sizzleis her first active skill that deals moderate Burn damage to a single enemy and inflicts more damage to health and stability when she's closer to the target.

Soaring Leapis her second active skill that lets her choose a nearby tile that she can jump to. After landing, she deals minor Burn damage to the nearest enemy, then grants her Extra Command and reduces the cooldown of her Ultimate. This skill is a fantastic positioning tool that also enhances her skill rotation in extended fights.

Boil and Reduceis her Ultimate skill and is her primary source of damage. The skill applies Scorch Mark to all enemy targets in a nearby selected AoE, and consumes all Confectance Points to deal significant damage.

Scorch Markis a stackable debuff that deals Burn damage based on the number of stacks. Stacks increase when the enemy takes Burn damage, which is abundant in a Burn team. Additionally, her passive also increases Critical Rate to targets affected by Scorch Mark, and she launches a Support Attack once per turn when an ally applies Overburn to an enemy.

Team Compositions

The current Burn team is quite crowded, with the core units comprising Qiongjiu, Sharkry, Vector, and Centaureissi. Alternatives such as Ksenia, Cheeta, and Peri can replace some of the core units, but are slightly weaker than the best Burn team around. 

Qiuhua can fit as the perfect fifth slot for a 5-Doll squad, notably for Gunsmoke Frontline, where you need as much DPS as you can bring. In a 4-Doll team, she struggles to replace the better options due to her lack of supportive ability, which Vector or Centaureissi have. However, she still performs well in content where a high-mobility Doll might be needed, such as Peak Value Assessment.

Verdict: Recommended Only For Bossing Content
