The acclaimed detective sim Shadows of Doubt has launched its biggest content drop yet: the Modifiers Update, now available as a free download on Steam, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S.

This update introduces nine optional gameplay modifiers, offering detectives new ways to experience the game. From high-stakes challenges like Ironman and Permadeath to quirky twists like becoming a 7-inch rat investigator or dodging an immortal snail nemesis, the Modifiers Update ensures no two investigations feel the same.

The New Modifiers

Players can now customize their investigations with the following game-changing options:
