Sony goes retro, releasing 30th anniversary edition of the PlayStation. How to get it
Old-school gamers with a penchant for new tech will want to queue up for the impending limited-edition release of retro-styled PlayStation 5 consoles and gaming systems.

Sony celebrates PlayStation's 30th anniversary with limited-edition retro release
The first PlayStation console launched in December 1994 and, according to Sony , the limited-edition offering "utilizes the original PlayStation color design" and integrates it into the latest line of PS5 hardware products.
Here are the details Sonly released regarding each device.
PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition BundIe: This comes with two terabytes of storage, two DualSense wireless controllers, a vertical stand and limited-edition stickers and a retro PS5 poster.
PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle: This has the same offerings as the console, but doesn't play disc-based games. Includes all the limited-edition accessories.
Sony will also sell a 30th anniversary limited-edition PlayStation Portal Remote Player, DualSense Wireless Controller and a DualSense Edge Wireless Controller to mark 30 years of the PlayStation.
When can I buy the 30th anniversary PS5?
Sony will release extremely limited numbers of the retro-inspired PS5 gaming systems , and hardcore fans may want to consider pre-ordering or camping out at retailers to get one.
"The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be released on November 21," read Sony's press release. "There will be 12,300 units of the PlayStation 5 Pro Console — 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle available for customers to purchase, with limited edition numbers etched onto the unit.
"The number represents the month and date of the first PlayStation console launch."
While gamers put together their plan to obtain a retro-flavored PS5, Sony has published a dedicated website that showcases the 30th anniversary PlayStation products, its most popular games and interviews with famous gamers.
