Star Wars Outlaws on the Nintendo Switch 2 is Game Key-Card Only

Star Wars Outlaws is caught in the middle of the controversy surrounding Nintendo's use of game key-cards, an unpopular method of game distribution that many fans have disowned. Fans have decried the use of game key-cards due to game preservation concerns. There are also some fans who call out game key-cards as a way for publishers to cut down on costs (as game key-cards are cheaper to produce compared to game carts with full games loaded on them), although a Massive Entertainment employee clarified that the decision was made due to technical limitations of the Nintendo Switch 2.
