SYDLESS Demo Crashes on Steam and Lets Players Battle With a Bouncing Ball Weapon
Gamers will get '90s memories when they check out French indie studio Opia Games' SYDLESS.
This first-person shooter will be launched on Steam in 2026, but the demo is available now on the platform, which puts players in control of Diego, a late '90s fast-food worker trapped in a twisted anomaly at Randy's Burger. Players will battle enemies by perfecting the art of controlling a deadly bouncing ball through shifting environments.
Opia Games announced the trailer for the game at the Boomstock 2025 Showcase.
By punching the ball harder, the speed will increase, with the ball becoming more powerful.Players will get a chance to see where they rank with a leaderboard and have the ability to unlock new powers across four chapters.
The demo is the first chapter of the game and features several levels, unlockable powers, and a local ranking system.
SYDLESS is not the first game from Opia Games, as they created The Lone Blade , a 3D platformer where you play as a soul trapped in a blade.
